Eugene Levy (born December 17, 1946, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada) is a Canadian actor and writer, especially known for playing comedic characters who are well-meaning but often dim-witted. He notably portrayed Noah Levenstein in the American Pie movies and cocreated and starred in the hit TV series Schitt’s Creek (2015–20). Levy is one of three children born to Rebecca Levy (née Kudlats), a homemaker, and Joseph Levy, an automobile-plant foreman.
