Frida Giannini (born 1972, Rome, Italy) is an Italian fashion designer who was the creative director of the world-renowned Gucci fashion house from 2006 to 2015. After studying at Rome’s Academy of Costume and Fashion (Accademia di Costume e di Moda) and holding an apprenticeship at a small fashion house, Giannini went to work in 1997 at the larger Fendi, where she quickly rose to become a designer of leather goods.
