Jordan, Philosophy and Ideology: The Development of Philosophy and Marxism-Leninism in Poland Since the Second World War (1963), a comprehensive background history of the Warsaw school, includes much information about Leśniewski and his associates and a full bibliography. Tadeusz Kotarbiński, Gnosiology: The Scientific Approach to the Theory of Knowledge (1966), a Polish classic, for more than two decades provided the only elementary account of Leśniewski’s work and influence and is still of value. Eugene C. Luschei, The Logical Systems of Lesniewski (1962), a book-length study of Leśniewski and his work, contains a comprehensive analytic bibliography of sources to 1962.
