Tullahoma, city, Coffee county, south-central Tennessee, U.S. It lies about 60 miles (95 km) southeast of Nashville on the site of a Cherokee village. Settled in the early 1800s by pioneers from eastern Tennessee, it served as a railroad camp during construction of the Nashville, Chattanooga, and St. Louis Railway in the early 1850s. The city developed in the late 19th century as a summer resort.
